U Build It

Large Parts Warehouse/Clog Barth, Owner/No Biases

Sure, it can be tough to get hold of an MP Laser III or a Long Tom rail gun - but you’d be surprised at how easy it is to get the parts necessary to build one. Clog Barth (an imposing troll) is constantly on the watch for corporations dumping parts on the market. Many of these discards were originally intended to be parts of powerful weapons, cyberware, or vehicles but which seem to most as being fairly useless on an individual level. But Clog knows better, purchasing these parts in bulk to be resold to interested individuals who know how to use them. The warehouse U Build It occupies (which, by the way, is guarded by a large contingent of Clog’s most frightening troll friends) is filled with virtually every mechanical part known to man, ranging from the radiator cap of a 1957 Chevy to the Vectoring Splitter Matrix of a Ares Arms vehicular laser. One thing Clog does not have is the schematics necessary to use any of these parts, although he can provide useful information on where you can find them and/or how to steal them.

Damnation Alley

Large Nightclub/No Owner/Strong Bias Against Non-Gang Members

Damnation Alley was just another alley in the barrens before it became a favorite neutral meeting round for a number of the city’s street gangs. Eventually somebody (nobody knows who) built a roof between the two buildings surrounding the alley and hooked up an illegal power tap. Now the alley is not only a favorite neutral meeting place for gangs, but it often develops into a spontaneous party. “Patrons” have even wired up flashing lights, an optical music system, and set up tables. Occasionally, somebody brings in some booze and fires up a mobile bar. Many gang alliances have been forged here (and many have been broken) but, so far, the only time violence has erupted is when unwelcomed visitors (such as shadowrunners) decide to bring trouble. Should such a thing happen, all gangs unify, fighting on the same side against a common foe.
